+ Project Info
36 Days of Type used to happen every year and multiple designers, artists, and creators would spend a little over a month designing one letter each day in their favorite style. I took the challenge as a way to learn 3D modeling/rendering as well as exercise creativity. I self-imposed that each letter had to be conceived and rendered every day as a way to force me to learn things quickly and come up with clever problem-solving. The designs ranged from abstract to realistic, sometimes subtle sometimes literal.

I used every possible 3D software I could get my hands on to try them all. In short, I have tried Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, zBrush, and CInema4D.
While nowadays I use mostly Cinema4D, I still have a soft spot for Blender. Did you hear it's free?
